More Net Neutrality Laws have ISP's Climbing in Bed with the Like
What is Net Neutrality you ask? Its a equal share of bandwidth to equal number of people with isp's sharing their bandwidth equally among themselves so that the internet doesn't suffer from bottle necks in speed and congestion. While this sounds wonderful it needs the co-operation of all isp's and Canada in Particular still is paying premiums for speed which the world doesn't seem to. While data is still transferred among land lands in Canada and the USA it doesn't have to. A couple of 2 190 - 390 GHZ Korean Satellites would put your local cable companies out of business and they know it. Because the world is living in the dark ages in North America compared to other more populated parts of the world like China it has been getting use to other forms of Internet connectivity like China's mobile unit (Art Bell) uses one not to mention others. One problem is that if the world suddenly switched to alternate forms of bandwidth carriers like Satellites their will be two hurdles, what to do with the line and cable grids that are now 90 percent not being used and security of the data which moves from satellite to end point or land point.
Any amount of things can affect overall download speeds on the Internet , like lines going down, for instance a contractor dug up a shaw line in Calgary once browning out a large section ( Didn't cost that much really ). Sorry what I mean to say is that lines can be severed all the time it effects the speeds when the Internet has to work around a problem area and loads up alternate routers.
Poor sprint has been grinding away for years being burnt sizzled and smoked and no one says anything while AT&T get a free ride with secret gateways that seem to immediately avoid congestion with alternate space travel. You would think that companies like Comcast wouldn't be living in the dark ages but their staff is exactly that, living in the dark with equipment but a poor understanding of how it all works.
I have included a big picture for those smart enough to appreciate it.
